Overview

What manufacturing and factories does for your site.

Factories already have cameras on production lines, loading areas, utility rooms and entrances. Visrax uses those views to watch the situations that cause injuries, downtime and audit findings: people inside machine exclusion zones, PPE not worn where it is required, forklifts crossing pedestrian routes, and activity in restricted areas outside planned hours.

Deployments usually start with a handful of high-value zones on one line and expand once supervisors trust the alerts. Everything is configured around the plant’s own layout and shift pattern.

The line runs on a schedule. The safety rules should too — and someone should be watching every zone, every shift.

What it does

Manufacturing and Factories, piece by piece.

Each part is configured around your cameras, zones and schedules — the same system, set up for the way your site runs.

  1. 01

    Production-floor visibility

A single view of line cameras with active alerts surfaced, so supervisors see what needs attention without walking the floor to check.

  2. 02

    Safety-zone events

Exclusion zones around cells, presses and drops with presence, dwell and PPE rules scheduled to the production plan.

  3. 03

    Equipment movement

Forklift and tug paths through the plant, with proximity alerts at crossings and blind corners.

  4. 04

    Operational incident review

Every event becomes an incident with evidence and history, ready for shift handover, investigations and safety committee reviews.

In practice

Situations your team will recognise.

Factory production area with technicians and industrial machinery. Illustrative object detections.
01

Restricted production zones

A zone around an automated cell is restricted while the line runs. An entry during production raises a high-severity alert to the line lead, who confirms the area is clear and closes the case.

02

PPE activity at a work cell

Helmet and vest presence is checked in a marked zone. A missing helmet raises a supervisor alert that is resolved on the floor and recorded in the incident.

Warehouse loading area with workers, storage and a forklift. Illustrative object detections.
03

Forklift and worker proximity

A forklift and a person share a crossing zone. The proximity alert is reviewed, and the crossing is prioritised for a physical barrier in the next safety plan.

Questions

Manufacturing and Factories questions

Straight answers about how this is configured, what it needs and what it does not do.

01Do we need to stop production to install Visrax?
No. Visrax connects to existing camera streams. Zone and rule configuration is done from the footage and reviewed with supervisors before alerts go live.
02Can rules follow our shift pattern?
Yes. Zones and rules are scheduled, so an area can be open during maintenance and restricted during production, with different severities for each.
03Will it integrate with our existing safety process?
Alerts become incidents with owners, evidence and history. Many teams use incident exports in their existing safety reviews and audits.
04Which areas should a pilot start with?
Typically a small number of zones with the clearest risk: machine exclusion areas, forklift crossings and a utility room. We agree these during the site walkthrough.
